Hanging out with Aunt Katy back in Texas at Christmastime. My whole side of the family was able to be together and it was way fun!
Our little skunk at halloween. She was quite the little trick or treater already grabbing from strangers candy bowls with no reservations.
Hanging out at the Bluegrass Festival Last fall. There was a beautiful lake there. We had a blast and are already planning to go back there next year and camp this time!
Hey Folks! It's been awhile. Alot's happened since September. Nora turned one March 4th. She took her first steps a couple weeks before her birthday and now she is toddling all over the place. She can say mama, dada, thank you, cows, moo, look, nana, bottle, and a few others that I can't think of at the moment. She is our pride and joy and Lucas and I can't figure out how we managed before we had her.
A Few of Nora's Favorite Things:
1. Her Cousins!!! What would we do without them? She follows those guys around nonstop. She is so interested in everything they do. They are very sweet to always include her in thier shannanigans. One of my favorite things is to watch her and little Eddie interact. They hang out together most school days and have become pretty good buddies. Eddie does this thing where he will laugh at her and then she will laugh back and they go back and forth egging eachother on. It is so cute!
2. Her baby doll Her gram and grandad got her the sweetest little babydoll for her birthday and she absolutely adores it! She must sleep with it and when she wakes up, she must find it and give it a kiss. (usually a kiss from whoever gets her out of bed is required also) It's neat to see her act so motherly already.
3. Her Chicks and Ducks Lucas came home a couple weeks ago with a dozen baby chicks and 2 ducks. It was quite a surprise but we are all really enjoying them! For now they are in some feeding bins in the kitchen with a heat lamp and weather permitting we will move them out to a shed soon. They are growing like weeds! Eleanor went bananas when she first saw them. She stayed with them for over 25 min, looking from one bin to the other pointing and squealing with delight. Also, she used to demand her bottle first thing every morning. But now she must check on her chicks first thing.
4. Nana's New Kittys It is so fun watching her with these little animals she just keeps saying "awww" and then pets them with one finger. She is gentle, except for the occasional eye gouging.
5. Riding in her Wagon
6. Dancing
